Daily Loss Limit

Updated over 2 months ago

Starting from 05:00 Ulaanbaatar time (GMT+8), you cannot incur an Unrealized Loss exceeding 2.5% of your account Balance within a 24-hour period, or before the "daily maximum loss limit" resets the following day.

Daily Loss Limit $ = Balance - (Balance * 2.5 / 100)

If you violate any rules, you will be unable to open new trades and will receive a notification email about the violation.

Example #1: With a $100,000 account, your initial daily loss limit is 2.5% or $2,500. If you end the day with a $1,000 loss, the calculation base for the next day's loss limit will be $100,000 - $1,000 = $99,000. Your maximum allowable loss for that day will be 2.5% of this amount, which is $2,475.

Example #2: With a $100,000 account, your initial daily loss limit is 2.5% or $2,500. If you end the day with a $1,000 profit, the calculation base for the next day's loss limit will be $100,000 + $1,000 = $101,000. Your maximum allowable loss for that day will be 2.5% of this amount, which is $2,525.

Example #3: If you have a $100,000 "Balance" with $1,000 in "Unrealized Profit" (total "Equity" of $101,000) when the daily loss limit resets, you cannot allow your account to drop below $100,000-($100,000*2,5/100)=$97,500 during the next 24 hours.

Example #4: If you have a $100,000 "Balance" with a negative $1,000 in "Unrealized Loss" (total "Equity" of $99,000) when the daily loss limit resets, you cannot allow your account to drop below $100,000-($100,000*2,5/100)=$97,500 during the next 24 hours.
