Daily Loss Limit

Updated over 2 months ago

Starting from 05:00 Ulaanbaatar time (GMT+8), within the next 24 hours (before the daily loss limit resets the next day), you must not incur more than 5% Unrealized Loss of your account's Balance.

Daily Loss Limit ($) = Balance - (Balance × 5 / 100)

If you violate any rules, you will be unable to open new trades and will receive a notification email about the violation.

Example #1:

With a $100,000 account, your initial daily loss limit is 5%, or $5,000.
If you end the day with a $3,000 loss, the base for calculating the next day’s loss limit becomes: $100,000 - $3,000 = $97,000
Your maximum allowable loss for the next day is 5% of $97,000 = $4,850.

Example #2:
With a $100,000 account, your initial daily loss limit is $5,000.
If you end the day with a $3,000 profit, the new base for the next day's loss limit is: $100,000 + $3,000 = $103,000 Your daily loss limit for the next day becomes 5% of $103,000 = $5,150.

Example #3:
If you have a $100,000 Balance and $3,000 Unrealized Profit (total Equity = $103,000) when the daily loss limit resets, you must not allow your Equity to drop below$100,000 - ($100,000 × 5%) = $95,000 during the next 24 hours.

Example #4:
If you have a $100,000 Balance and -$3,000 Unrealized Loss (total Equity = $97,000) when the daily loss limit resets,
you must not allow your Equity to drop below
$100,000 - ($100,000 × 5%) = $95,000 during the next 24 hours.
